Check out Sam Fox’s website, www.runwhileyoucan.org/ He is running from Canada to Mexico via the Pacific Crest Trail, over 2,650 miles to raise awareness and funds for Parkinson’s disease research. All his efforts are dedicated to his mother, who suffers from Parkinson’s. He plans to beat the current speed record 65 days which means he has to run on average 40 miles per day. His training regimen consisted of running 10 –12 miles in the morning, 15 – 25 miles or two hours on a stationary bike then the weight room. It is amazing what one can do when driven. ~Cornell
