These are Awesome. I have always been a potato chip junky and could easily go through the big bag in an evening. And I could never pass up fresh made chips always ordering a basket. Cheddar Crisps are not exactly a replacement, but they are good!!!

First these are very easy to make. Essentially, you put cheddar cheese on parchment paper in the microwave for somewhere between 1 minute to 2 minutes until crisp. If it browns a bit, it is okay, no taste difference. It al depends on your microwave and how thick you lay the cheese out. I am still experimenting, but it seems that reduced fat cheese produces less grease – no one likes soggy chips. The first few times, I padded the semi-crisp chips with paper and put them in the microwave again. Went through a lot of paper towel.
